FSU NW Housing Parking & Dining

FSU NW Campus Housing + Dining is the first step in Florida State University’s larger vision for a more active, welcoming, and connected northwest campus precinct. Developed from the approved NW Precinct Conceptual Site Plan, the project brings housing, dining, recreation, gathering, and residence life together as the foundation for a stronger student community.

The 419,875 GSF development includes 361,781 GSF of student housing, a 36,782 GSF dining program, a 2,182 GSF loading dock, and 19,130 GSF of attic space. More than a stand-alone residence hall, it is a precinct-scale investment shaped through design charrettes with FSU and coordinated with the University’s Campus Master Plan.

The project is advancing through a tightly coordinated design, permitting, and preconstruction process, with continuous alignment among scope, cost, schedule, and regulatory milestones. Schematic design was completed in September 2025, followed by design development in January 2026. Construction documents, permitting, and preconstruction continue through 2026, with move-in readiness and substantial completion targeted for June 2028.

The UF Honors Village is a vibrant new addition to the University of Florida, designed to foster a sense of community and support both academic and social engagement. With a blend of modern style and traditional UF elegance, the Honors Village houses 1,400 students in a mix of single and double suites, including ADA-compliant options, ensuring accessibility for all students.

Beyond student housing, the Honors Village offers a range of facilities aimed at enriching the overall student experience. Music rooms, teaching kitchens, and other academic spaces are integrated into the design to support both the personal and educational growth of residents. These spaces create opportunities for students to connect with one another through shared interests and collaborative learning.

A standout feature of the Honors Village is the Honors Common, a dedicated space for enhanced academic programming, as well as faculty and staff offices. This hub encourages meaningful interactions between students, faculty, and staff, contributing to the close-knit community atmosphere.

The UF Honors Village marks a major achievement in UF's goal of strengthening the university community by providing a diverse range of social and academic experiences. It serves as both a home and a place of learning, ensuring students feel supported and connected throughout their time at UF.
