University of Miami Life Sciences

The laboratory suite consists of office and general work areas, equipment support spaces, ISO-7 Gowning Space, ISO-6 Processing Laboratory Clean Room, and ISO-5 Lithograph Laboratory Clean Room. The critical nature of the research and lack of building HVAC capacity required the clean room laboratory spaces to be served by an independent HVAC system. BioNIUM focuses on catalyzing interdisciplinary nanotechnology among all University of Miami departments, Centers, Institutes, Schools and Colleges involved in education, science and engineering research. BioNIUM accomplishes this by providing nanotechnology resources that includes this highly specialized fabrication facility.
